Chris is one of the co-founders of boutique multi-asset portfolio construction specialists Context Capital.

He is primarily responsible for leading the development of client investment philosophies and portfolio design. Chris is appointed as the outsourced chief investment officer on a number of client portfolios.

Prior to founding Context Capital, Chris was the Chief Investment Officer at WA Super. During his tenure between 2013 and 2020, Chris was a finalist in the Conexus Financial Chief Investment Officer of the Year Awards and the fund’s performance was recognised with awards including the AFR Blue Ribbon Best Capital Stable Fund and Selecting Super’s Best Performance for International Equities. Previous experience includes consulting to institutional investors with an emphasis on private markets. 

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the Australian National University, is a Certified Investment Management Analyst and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
